Hi Friends,
Is anyone interested in creating a "Little League" of our own? And by little, I mean for the little ones. With all the options of things to do this summer, I can tell they are all aiming at one thing...My POCKET BOOK (ok, who really calls it a pocket book these days). Anyhow, I was thinking it would be fun to start with some soccer and then maybe try tee-ball later on this summer. We can decide when we want to get together as little or much as we want. I was thinking it would be fun to buy a set of two different colored t-shirts for the kids and whoever shows up for the game, can pick a t-shirt to create the teams. Let me know if you are interested.

Neighborhood Watch.
I am holding a neighborhood watch meeting Thursday, December 16th at 6pm. It will be at my house. Detective Higley from Clearfield City police will be there to speak with us. Come if you are interested!
Monday, December 6, 2010
Hey everyone! We have had some vandalism in the neighborhood recently. Please keep your eye out for anything suspicious looking. Let's watch out for one another! Here are some tips from clearfield city's website to keep us all safe.
*Report suspicious circumstances, people and vehicles immediately to the police.
*Hold block parties to get to know each other, create friendships, and to establish a sense of security and closeness.
*Outside lighting has been proven to deter crime, leaving your outside lights on all night is encouraged.
Please let your other friends/neighbors who might not have access to read this blog know! Thanks! Let's stand together!

You're invited
Just wanted to invite all you who can come to join us at Antelope Elementary on Friday, Oct. 22nd from 6:30 - 8:30 pm for the Fall Carnival. We have some fantastic, creative, fun ladies in charge and they do a great job.
There will be pizza, drink and a cookie available for $3.00 (each additional piece of pizza is $1.00)
There are two photo booths offering pictures one with a Halloween background and one with just a fall background ($2.00 for your picture to be e-mailed to you. $3.00 for your picture to be e-mailed and get a 5x7 print)
Everything else is free. We've had our 5th & 6th grade classes working on games of chance and a spook alley (not too scary). It is going to be a blast.
The kids can dress up if they'd like (no masks or weapons) but they don't have to! The children must be accompanied by an adult - don't drop them off and go to the the movies! I do not count as an adult so don't tell your kids to come find me and say they are mine for the evening ;-)
Hope to see you there!!!

Hey Everyone!
I wanted to tell you about a company called Melaleuca. (Don't stop reading just because I mentioned a company). I worked for this company in college and absolutely loved the products and the company was pretty nice to work for as well. Anyhow, it's kind of like a "Costco" of Wellness products. I have signed up to be a member and will be placing an order for my family each month for as long as I decide to be a member. If any of you want to order anything (I'll have a catalog soon) you are welcome to use my membership and get your products.
This is a wellness company and has earth friendly/ kid safe options at a lesser price than brands you would get from Wal-Mart. Products come as a concentrate that you mix with water and save you about 30% from the other brands.
I'll give you an example of what they sell:
Cleaners: Laundry soap, softener, spot treatment, dishwasher, dish, and things equivalent to 409, Lime-away, windex etc.
Vitality: Vitamins, protein bars and shakes, immune, prostate health etc.
Bath and Body: Lotion, Salon quality shampoo and conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, chap-stick and lots more.
Nicole Miller: Make up
RX Pharmacy: LOTS of over the counter drugs and ointments
They even have a kids line of bath products.
They have over 300 products to choose from. So if you are interested in having some of these earth-friendly/ kid safe products in your home let me know and I'll let you take a look at my catalog.
Like I said, I will be placing an order each month. I'm not making any commission or anything off of your purchase so this is not a sales pitch. Just an opportunity to share products from one of my favorite companies.
If you are interested in becoming your own member, it is only $1 this month (June) with a $12 annual renewal fee if you want to continue year after year...but you can also cancel at anytime. Normally the sign up fee is $29.99. Also, they offer their members discounts to tons of retail stores, and they have services such as phone, credit card, pharmacy etc. (It's been 7 years since I've worked there so I'm not sure all the details.) Just didn't want you to miss the good promotion window.

FHE Treat Swap! 7:00 pm
Ok, so I'm bored this week and looking ahead to how much Todd is working next week doesn't allow for much light to be at the end of the tunnel. So, tomorrow night, after your FHE with your families, come on over to my house with the family for a little FHE Treat Swap. Bring a plate of goodies to share and we can let the kids play while we talk.
