2 Truths and a Lie

So, I wanted to introduce myself to the blog (which I kind of did in Stacy's previous post). But I thought it would also be fun to play this little game with everyone. I'm sure you've heard of it. You tell three things about you. Two of them are true, and one is a lie. You take a stab at which one is the lie, and in the mean time, you get to know me a little bit more. I'll share the stories sometime.

#1 - I sang back up for Shania Twain in concert.

#2- Celine Dion and I picked out vegetables at Wal-Mart together.

#3- I ate a sack lunch in the car with President Hinckley.

Card Workshop

Gettin Our Skinny On

So I wanted to have a shout out to April for kicking my lazy behind into shape. I have lost an inch off my baby belly and a half on my thighs. She also has lost some in her measurements. It is so such fun to work out with someone and to have someone make you do it on days you don't want to. Anyways, thanks to April and I hope everyone can find a workout buddy and start to feel better. I do have way more energy and feel much better then I did two weeks ago. Everyone is always welcome to come play with us, I hope that our improvements can help motivate someone else!! Go get your skinny on ladies..

So Niles has been feeling way left out with all my recent sewing. SO I went on a search for something to make him. This was what I found and it is super cute. Yes, I didn't pay attention, huge surprise and the cars are upside down but he doesn't care so why should I!!!

Hey girls!

I noticed someone wanted to give the blog a summery update:) Which is fantastic! It needed it, but just so we all know... do NOT use Lee Lou Backgrounds. Their templates mess things up BIG time! No worries for whoever did, I'm sure you had no idea. And it is definitely fixable, it just takes a while:) I put up one from Janny Pie for now. If you don't like it, we can totally change it! You may notice though, her icon almost covers your customize button... it is still usable. Just go slightly over the top of it to click, and it works just the same! If anyone ever has any blog questions, let me know! Thanks!

Shampooer!

So I need to shampoo my carpets downstairs in the family room. Does anyone have a shampooer that I can borrow!? I would love it! Please let me know!

Sparkly Clean Windows...you want? I do!!

Just wondering if anyone else in the neighborhood would be interested in getting their windows professionally cleaned?! Mine haven't been done in 3 years and it doesn't even sound like any fun to me even if I did have time to do it myself.  :) My good friends brother owns his own business and said if we can get 3 or more of us together he'll totally hook us up! He does an absolutely fabulous job!  He'll do both inside & out and even gets all the yucky hard water stains off the outside from the sprinklers hitting them.  He even has great references!  Let me know if any of you are interested!!  

Need for baby stuff!

Most of you know that my sister in law is having twins. They are very excited but a little scared because they are going to be dirt poor. My brother isn't planning on working while he is going to Physical Therapy school and they are just planning on going into debt. My sister in law is going to try and work 20 hrs a week but this is her first pregnancy and their first kids, she might find it's harder than she thinks with two babies. They are moving far away from both sides of their families for my brother to go to school, so they won't have a lot of family support nearby.

They are having a boy and a girl. Anything anyone can donate would be appreciated. They said if they came across a crib on the side of the road they'd use it. My mother, sister and I are throwing a shower for her on the nineteenth so if you want to drop by a donation before then that would be great.

Don't feel like you need to give anything more than stuff you are already planning on getting rid of. I just thought instead of dropping it off at DI (which they don't take baby equipment anymore anyway) you could drive it a few less blocks and know that it was going to a family that really needs it.

How does Friday sound for the BBQ? Anyone wanna do it then? Here is the info again.
I am thinking lunchtime, 11 cook food eat 11:30, and the kids can play. Anyone wanna come? Bring your own meat. I will have condiments if you need them, lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickles and such. But if you need a bun or something bring it with ya. Then just bring something to share. Hope everyone can come.
