Strange request..

I am looking for a small key lock, like a luggage lock but it needes to be a bit bigger. If anyone has something like that I could borrow, or knows where I could get one, I would really appreciate it. I need it for Wednesday this week.

A New Nia class

I'm really excited about my new nia class starting on April 6. Yes it's on Mondays at 8:30pm at the aquatic center. OK yes it is late, but my thoughts are this, kids can already be to bed and we can have a fabulous workout and then some relaxation before bed! It's a 4 week class through April and it costs $20.
Just come and check it out and if you don't enjoy it you can get a refund. And PLEASE don't judge nia harshly because of how I look, you really can get a fabulous workout,even with me as the instructor!

Night Out

I'll do the night out for April but I'm going to set it up for times I can go, since I haven't been able to make any of the others. I put polls up on the side for week and day. Please, try to avoid the 22nd. That's my sons birthday so I definitely won't be going out that night. I can remove the polls too, if you are just wanting me to pick a day. I haven't decided on places yet, but I would like to try the Pizza Factory over on Antelope, if it's any good. Any other suggestions?

I just had to thank you again for the fun on Saturday. I loved being out of the house for a few minutes and it was such a fun project. Jill hasn't been stuck in a room with me in a long time - it was way over due!!!

It was nice to meet you Angie and you too Tana (again - sorry about that!!!) You should come over and visit a few times so I can cement you in my head. The funny thing is that Sam had seen you sitting by Nicole at the stake meeting last Thursday and he wanted me to tell him who was serving with Nicole - I had no idea. So I described you to him yesterday and he said "Oh, that's the sister I saw with Nicole". So you just keep crossing our paths and we'll get your name and face put together soon. Why won't they put pictures up on the website so I can study - there isn't a test anyway, they just keep mixing up the auxiliary positions until everyone has served with everyone. The plus side is that you're only trying to think nice things about people so that deletes most of my first (and second) impressions anyway!

Jessica, I'm pretty open the last two weeks of April right now, so whatever you decide I'll try and make it! I'm looking forward to the visit time. If I invite the sisters I visit teach does that count as visiting them??????

Sam pointed out that my basket handle didn't look like yours and I said "I was being creative!" He only came up with "Oh!" - I told him he needed to try for "I like yours much better. So creative. So talented." I still have teaching to do I guess!! ;-)

"Get Fit" Reward?

Hey Stacy and anyone else trying to get in shape/healthier.....

I was just wondering what you thought about a having some kind of 'reward' for really working hard to get in shape and such. It sometimes helps me to have a reason to workout! :-)

I need new clothes, really bad, but I don't want to buy anything until I get where I want as far as being in shape. I would like to go to Park City and go shopping when I get there. Just wondering if anyone else would want to do that too as our little reward?

Dinner

I was going to post the polls for dinner next month but wanted to make sure people are still interested. We have people voting on stuff but not saying they are going. I just wanted to make sure people are still interested.

My First Workshop!

It's right around the corner! :) My 1st workshop will be held at my house on March 21st @ 2pm! These are a couple pictures of what we will be making. Each person will get one mini Easter card and 1 Easter treat basket! There will be a variety of colors and designs for you to choose from. {and remember for this 1st workshop only these projects will be free!} However, I do need to have a count of who will be coming so I can have everything prepared, so please let me know by the 17th if you will be coming! March night out!

So I've decided I am going tonight. I have been stuck at home with sick kids for over a week. I need a break (Even though it means saddling the sick kids with Dan two days before he has a trip). I'm going to be stuck with them for the week he is gone, so I've made an executive decision and if he doesn't like it...I hope he'll forgive me:-) Post if you are going tonight and I'll call and make a reservation.

LAZY BUMS!!!

So five of you voted to the place that won. One of you needs to be in charge of seeing how many people are going so you can get a table. I wish I could go but I will have to make it next month. I hope Steve is in town then!!! Oh how I hate the travel. I am still planning on lunch on Saturday just to let everyone know. I will need some me time by then. I don't know how people deal with hubbys gone for months. A week is about all I can handle.

Tepanyaki Coupon

I noticed that Tepanyaki won the polls for our night out. In the HomeTown Values coupon book that comes in the mail there is a "Buy one dinner and get the second dinner half off" coupon. So if you ladies want to team up you might be able to save a little money. I wont be able to go (so sad, I love sushi!), but I can give my coupon to who ever wants it. Just let me know.

Beehive Cheese Factory Tour

I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in touring our local cheese factory...Beehive Cheese Co. It's right there at the mouth of Weber Canyon.

They teach you how to make your own cheese, and about aging and of course the tastings!!!


I had a friend go with a home school group and said it was fantastic and amazing. All we have to do is call and let them know how many are coming and they'll take care of the rest. I have a small group going so let me know if you want to join us!!

Dinner out

So I can't make it to the dinner this month Steve is out of town. So somebody who is planning on going needs to take over. I posted the tie between the places and the time. But someone else will need to finish it out when the polls close. If anyone wants to go to lunch on Saturday instead let me know. I don't want to mess up the voting thing but if someone can't go on Tuesday either or if you want to go twice let me know.

Book Club for March

So the book for this month is awesome and the great thing about this months book as well is that it gives great conversation even if you haven't read it. Please come and support book club on this Thursday march 5th at Jessica Gnehm's house. If you could bring a small treat that would be awesome. I was thinking that the theme could be healthy food, for 'making our marriages healthier'. So veggies or fruits or even cheese and crackers. That is just an idea for treats, bring or make whatever you want. Stacey suggested we do themes for the food for book club and I thought that sounded fun.

Please comment if you can come, so Jessica will have a heads up for numbers. I don't know if I can make it there this month due to the time (I have my nephew until eight, and my hubby has class).

p.s. Don't forget about HFPE tonight at the church at 6:30. The food is gonna be awesome. My dad (former chef) is coming over to help me make yorkshire pudding (my all time favorite food).
